cigarettesDespite the increase of prices in cigarettes on recent sin tax bill many smokers are still buying it.  I just had encountered last year how other stores and retailers keep hoarding the supplies of cigarettes. My auntie for example have not selling it until the cost of stick became Php 4.00 each stick.

I honestly like this new law that was signed by President Aquino because me and hubby are not smoker though I can see some have shifted to other brand that was lower in price. All I’m hoping for is that many students who only depends money or allowance from their parents to feel the pinch and minimize their smoking habits.

I also notice that the selling of e-cigarettes store in the  mall has gradually noticed and always full packed of client which before many have been ignoring it.

Meanwhile, here in our place, if you ask some retailers if the sale of cigarettes declined you may be surprise that it isn't because many smokers are still willing to pay more just to satisfy their vices.

But how about the extra tax that the government will earn from the sin tax bill, will it go to the appropriate budget and projects that the people in the Philippines will benefit from it or just as usual will use by only a certain pockets of people for their own interest?
