Do you know that the slowest connection of internet can only be found in the Philippines? Yes it is, but it is something that we shouldn't be proud of because a lot of things and benefits from using it were stolen from us where they can really provide faster connection than what they give right now.

Meanwhile other countries use fiber connection to strengthen and fasten more of their internet connection while we are stuck with the slowest kbps connection plus the horrifying cap and their unfair usage policy that limit us to use the internet on its fullest potential.

If only these monopoly company can do something about it maybe a little stretch on the monthly bill won’t hurt if they happen to increase it.

Here are the few things that will happen if we have faster connection:

  •  Instant Boost of Economy. People will pay whatever the price as long as they are satisfied with what they’re getting.
  •  It will create more jobs online which can give a decrease in number of jobless in the country. More employers from around the globe will keep an eye in the country because we have the best competitive people when it comes to virtual works. But how can this be possible if internet will randomly lag and fluctuate at all times.
  •  People can explore more. Most youth here in the Philippines visits social media like facebook and twitter only; I believe that this is because of the limited bandwidth ISP can provide. Because of these limited chance experts like web developer, designer and creator were less noticeable in the country because of limited audience.
  •  More people will get an interest to get online and to social media, and again this will boost sales from ISP provider.

As you can see the effects of faster connection gives a favorable income to the two main company provider in the Philippines, but if we stuck with these current fluctuation and unfair usage policy more and more of their users will get turn off to use the internet.
