Hi guys, end of school is fast approaching in fact just 2 more weeks and it’s my son’s recognition day. Though it isn’t confirmed yet but since he is already on top of his class I assumed he was included too (stage mom). Anyway I am now scouting for the activities to enroll my son this summer and I actually find a few activities to try and to develop more of the skills he has.

Kumon class.

My son is already in the program and right now, he was on the Level F in Math. Their Math is up to Level O so I guess he will just continue on the program.

Music class.

My son love music that much and while watching his favorite character in Cartoon Network he saw a distinctive instrument played by the character. I searched it online and found out that it was exceptional the banjo

Painting.

Currently my son enrolled in a drawing class having a package of pencil drawing, oil pastel and painting tutorial. Painting consists only two sessions but he likes to continue with this class after. I’m also thinking to enroll together with my son but I am hesitant because of the budget.

 Sports.

I am also waiting for the Milo Summer Clinics in my place to enroll my son in basketball. This is actually the first sports that he learned next to a pimpong or table tennis.

Writing and Journalism.

A friend in FB has a son enrolled in something like this last summer but unfortunately this is not available in our place.

Anyway, it’s up to you whether you will encourage your child in any activities this summer or not. But I highly recommended that you do, to keep them busy in something very useful. Unlike playing computer games at home I’d rather see him busy brewing more knowledge and stand out from the rest of the children.
